Charming gîte at the foot of the Grand Ballon. Welcome to a green setting in a charming high-altitude village (640m) in the heart of the Ballon des Vosges Nature Park. Our gîte is quietly situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, at the foot of hiking and mountain-biking trails. As a nature lover, you'll love the peacefulness of this magical place, with its 4 huge roof windows and uninterrupted views over the surrounding forest.

This new 85m2 carrez (104 m floor area) apartment on the 1st floor of a house comprising 2 units, comprises: An entrance hall with dressing room, a spacious bedroom with a 160x200 bed, a bedroom with two 80x200 beds, (and a 60x120 wooden baby bed). All bedsteads and mattresses are new (2022 and 2024). Bathroom with double washbasin and Italian shower, hairdryer, towel dryer and washing machine, separate WC. A living room with lounge area (smart TV 108cm) and pleasant, bright relaxation area. A fully-equipped open kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, hood, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, toaster, induction hob, dishwasher. In winter, discover Alsace's Christmas Markets (15mn Guebwiller, 25mn Colmar, 25mn Mulhouse, 40mn Kaysersberg...) and the ski resorts of the Vosges (40 mn Markstein, 50mn Schnepfenried, 57 mn Lac blanc, 1h05 La Bresse). In summer, take advantage of the many Hiking trails starting from the Holiday cottage (3h30 from the Grand Ballon), the Alsace wine route, the Route des crêtes, and Alsace gastronomy. 2 restaurants in the village will welcome you upon reservation.
