Charming gîte at the foot of the Grand Ballon. Welcome to a green setting in a charming high-altitude village (640m) in the heart of the Ballon des Vosges Nature Park. Our gîte is quietly situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, at the foot of hiking and mountain-biking trails. As a nature lover, you'll love the peacefulness of this magical place, with its 4 huge roof windows and uninterrupted views over the surrounding forest.

This new 85m2 carrez (104 m floor area) apartment on the 1st floor of a house comprising 2 units, comprises: An entrance hall with dressing room, a spacious bedroom with a 160x200 bed, a bedroom with two 80x200 beds, (and a 60x120 wooden baby bed). All bedsteads and mattresses are new (2022 and 2024). Bathroom with double washbasin and Italian shower, hairdryer, towel dryer and washing machine, separate WC. A living room with lounge area (smart TV 108cm) and pleasant, bright relaxation area. A fully-equipped open kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, hood, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, toaster, induction hob, dishwasher. An outdoor area is reserved for you in the landscaped grounds, with a wooden table and bench, 2 deckchairs, as well as a bistro table and 2 chairs on your landing. You'll also benefit from a secure 9 m2 storage room with electric socket for storing (and recharging) bicycles, as well as a recharging point for electric vehicles. Motorcycle shelter with workbench. Baby equipment available: high chair and changing table. In winter, discover Alsace's Christmas Markets (15mn Guebwiller, 25mn Colmar, 25mn Mulhouse, 40mn Kaysersberg...) and the ski resorts of the Vosges (40 mn Markstein, 50mn Schnepfenried, 57 mn Lac blanc, 1h05 La Bresse). In summer, take advantage of the many Hiking trails starting from the Holiday cottage (3h30 from the Grand Ballon), the Alsace wine route, the Route des crêtes, and Alsace gastronomy. 2 restaurants in the village will welcome you upon reservation.

Chantal Une belle semaine de detente dans un cadre idyllique, et un gite parfait
Découvrir, marcher, se reposer, se ressourcer, voila nos objectifs quand nous partons en vacances.
Le gite de Laure a permis de réaliser nos objectifs: ce n'est pas loin de la route des vins et des vignobles d'Alsace, les sentiers de randonnées sont auprès du logement, la petite terrasse du gite propose une vue superbe sur la foret et le top, c'est la possibilité d'une séance bien être !

Eric Gite was good equipped (almost brand new)
The tenants on the first floor were noisy. In the discription for our as guests the request was to respect the tenants on the first floor (no running, loud music) but these people on the first floor did not respect us as guests (child running, smashing windows etc) and a meowing cat. Also the terrain is shared with the tenants on the first floor! We did not have any privacy.

Bonjour, je suis très surprise de lire votre avis et navrée que les prestations n’aient pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. C’est la 1e fois en plus de 3 ans que nous avons un retour négatif. Nos clients ne se sont jamais plaint et mettent habituellement en avant la sérénité et le calme qui règne dans notre logement et notre village d’altitude. Je suis quelqu’un d’ouvert et qui met un point d’honneur à ce que mes clients soient bien accueillis et se sentent bien chez nous. Si vous m’aviez dit que vous étiez gênés par le bruit, je serai allé voir mes locataires. Mais vous n’avez rien dit même à votre départ. Quel dommage de ne pas communiquer!

vincent Merveilleux dans un village calme
Très belle maison, très fonctionnelle, située dans un endroit calme avec à proximité 2 super restaurants.
Les propriétaires sont au petit soin avec des produits de qualité (miels, vins, etc..).Gite très confortable, propre , literie excellente, spacieux et lumineux.
