The village of Kuttolsheim, just 20 minutes from Strasbourg, is the gateway to the famous Route des Vins, which runs southwards through the vineyards and pretty villages of Alsace, against the backdrop of the Vosges mountains. It's ideally situated for walking and cycling, as well as for visiting the multifaceted metropolis of Strasbourg, and other tourist attractions such as the pretty City of Saverne with its nearby Lalique Museum during the day, and returning to the peace and quiet of the Countryside in the evening, where a choice of good-quality restaurants awaits you. Located 18 km from Strasbourg, our character guesthouse La Vallée is a harmoniously renovated former winegrower's farmhouse at the end of the peaceful Alsatian village of Kuttolsheim, on the edge of the Forest and a small stream. This charming half-timbered property, repainted in shades of white and light gray, is set around a pretty flower-filled paved courtyard that the owners lovingly decorate. Opposite the main building, where the owners live, are three charming independent maisonnettes "Lune" (ideal for 1-2 people), "Étoile" (for 3-4 people) and "Soleil" (also ideal for a family of 4), which double up as Bed and Breakfasts. Each has its own private outdoor terrace where you can enjoy the fine weather. Breakfast is served in our beautiful separate breakfast room.
