The Roman town of Orange has over two thousand years of history which can be seen at its ancient theatre, famous for its ‘Chorégie’ festival, its Arc de Triomphe and the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire which is housed in a 17th century mansion and features a Gallo-Roman section and a section devoted to the history of Orange from prehistory to the present day.
