Every year, Parc Astérix celebrates Halloween with its « Peur sur le Parc » event. On the programme : 3 haunted houses, the cursed land of « La Foire aux 6 trouilles », « Magna Maleficus » magic show, street performances with monsters to terrify the bravest of the brave and attractions to ensure an unforgettable experience.
Mer de Sable - the Wild West comes to Ermenonville
For some more memorable sensations, head for Ermenonville and the Mer de Sable ! This family amusement park is mainly based around the Wild West and the mythical Gold Rush. Billy the Kid and Buffalo Bill would have loved this park. After being attacked by Indians on a train, you arrive on a set worthy of the great cowboy films ! Ranch, saloon, sand, cacti, the Cheyenne River Rapids : a complete change of scenery ! A Gold Rush featuring shows which would scare even John Wayne ! A total of 30 attractions around 3 themes : The Gateway to the Desert and its immense sand dune; The Age of Pioneers which takes children back to the legends of the Wild West; The Jungle is an exotic colourful world of mystery.

Opening times
Parc Astérix is open from early April to early November. Please check the website for exact dates and opening times. A normal day is 10.00 – 18.00.
How to get to Parc Astérix
Parc Astérix is at Plailly, 30 minutes by car north of Paris. Take the A1 and exit for « Parc Astérix ». NB. The section between Paris and Parc Astérix is toll-free.
