The small village resort of Les Saisies is nicknamed the « Tyrol Français » for its beautiful scenery which is among the finest in the Alps. The unspoilt beauty of the landscape is breathtaking at any time of year : magnificent Mont-Blanc, the preserved Beaufortain Massif, the splendid Chaîne des Aravis, the curious Vallée d’Hauteluce, … The village of Les Saisies has retained its traditional architecture and extends a warm welcome to visitors !

Situated between Beaufortain and Val d’Arly, Les Saisies forms a link between Savoie and Haute Savoie. The exceptional snow cover at the resort has earned it the nickname of « Grenier à neige de la Savoie (snow store of Savoie) » so skiing is possible from Decmber to the end of April.

Two ski areas are accessible from Les Saisies : Hauteluce et Bisanne 1500, the Les Saisies area, with its 77km of pistes ideal for children and beginners ; Espace Diamant which has ski lifts to the resort villages of Les Saisies, Hauteluce, Bisanne, Crest Voland, Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Flumet and Praz sur Arly. Espace Diamant has 192km of different pistes and stunning views !

The Nordic ski area of Les Saisies is one of the best-known in France since the Winter Olympics were held at Albertville in 1992. It is between 1,650m and 1,720m altitude with 120km of trails for all levels of experience.

The ski areas also have snow parks with play areas, learning zone, treasure hunt to refine your skills while having fun !

Enjoy a Far North expedition among forest and virgin land ! Choose from cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog-sledding, skijoring…

Great fun on the 800m Mountain Twister ! This rail sledge is open all year round and guarantees thrills and laughter as you shoot around hairpin bends and twists, over bumps and humps …

If you aren’t a skier or you fancy doing something different, head for Le Signal, a 5,000m² aquatic leisure complex with three centres :

An aquatic leisure centre : leisure pool with counter-current streams, bubble jets, hydromassage, paddling pool…

Wellness area : jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, treatment room

Sports centre : gym, rock climbing wall, team sports (handball, basketball, volleyball) and racket sports (badminton, squash).

Les Saisies été — Les Saisies is an ideal mountain destination in summer too. A protected area, open to all, it has a full range of outdoor activities : walking, paragliding, mountain biking, horse riding, local fetes and events.

The Col des Saisies, at 1,633m altitude separates the Vallée du Beaufortain from Val d’Arly and is a wonderful adventure playground. Set off to the top of the mountains along signposted trails, alone or with a guide.

Here are 3 essential walks to enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of Les Saisies. From the top of Col de Véry (1,964m) there are open views of Mont-Blanc de Chamonix and the summits of Beaufortain and 3 of its 4 dams (Roselend, St-Guérin and Girotte).

La Croix Coste (1814m) and Mont Bisanne (1941m) is a pretty walk through scenery varying from Alpine pasture to forests with amazing views of the mountain ranges of Beaufortain, Mont Blanc, Aravis and Bauges !

Le Chard du Beurre means little hill in Savoyard dialect. At 1,893m it is easy to get to the top to enjoy the superb 360° view.

While out walking, take time to admire the countryside and wonderful flora and fauna of Les Saisies where it is not unusual to spot black grouse, chamois, deer and marmots !

Explore Beaufortain and Espace Diamant by bike !

Les Saisies is the ideal resort for all types of mountain biking with 160km of cross-country trails.

There are also 13 downhill tracks, 5 enduro trails, a pump track and a bike park ! There is something for bikers of all levels of experience so come and discover the sport or stretch yourself to the limit !
