This beautiful stone house dating from 1850, fully restored and independent, offers every comfort in an authentic atmosphere. South-facing, it lies at the intersection of Countryside roads leading directly to the village.
Its ideal Location will enable you to discover the jewels of Touraine: the royal fortress of Chinon, the castles of Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Rigny-Ussé, Amboise and Chenonceau.

    super week-end

    C'est une très jolie maison qui a été restaurée. Les lits son confortables et il y a suffisamment de vaisselle pour cuisiner. Le jardin est très agréable quand il y a du soleil et ça été le cas pour notre week-end.
    L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter les nombreux châteaux autour.
    Monsieur Liard est très arrangeant.

    La Vielle Chaume

    We had a lovely peaceful stay at La Vieille Chaume. Our second time her. We love the countryside setting and peaceful garden. The house is comfortable and had everything that we need.
    The owner was welcoming and really helpful in giving local information about things to do including tips about local vinyards to visit.
    We particularly enjoyed local walks and going to Chinon and kayaking.
    We had another beautiful stay and hope to go back another time.

    Impeccable

    Nous avons passé deux excellentes semaines dans ce gîte charmant de Touraine. Sous le soleil nous avons visité beaucoup de sites historiques dont cette belle région regorge. La vieille chaume est un gîte avec beaucoup de cachet, confortable avec un jardin au calme des plus reposants.
    Mr Liard le propriétaire est très sympa.

    Excellent

    It is an excellent holidayhouse, very calm neighbourhood and you have a lot of possibilties nearby for trips, restaurants and shops. All info about it is availbale in the house. Mr Liard, the owner, is very friendly and very enthousistic about this region. We can only say we totaly agree. The hous itself has all confort you need for a stay
