Description 2026, subject to modifications for 2027: Please refer to the description sheet validated at the time of booking.

Louis welcomes you to the farmhouse of his childhood, an authentic 18th-century Burgundy farmhouse of character, restored to the highest standards. On the edge of meadows (with Charolais sheep as peaceful neighbors!), in the heart of a charming little hamlet nestled on a rolling bocage plateau at the foot of the famous Butte de Suin, culminating at 600m above sea level on the watershed between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean. Nestled on the site of an ancient Gallic city & a major Roman road, on a natural site protected for its remarkable plant and animal (especially aquatic) ecosystem, this iconic Saône-et-Loire panoramic sentinel offers a literally exceptional 360° view, as far as Mont-Blanc on a clear day (a local saying has it that you can see 52 bell towers!). You'll enjoy a delightful 500m² walled garden, well tended and full of flowers, with a double terrace (one partly sheltered, where the old bread oven used to be) and a ping-pong table (in the old barn). Superb unobstructed view of the Charollais region. Magnificent panorama and scenery. Spacious, comfortable gîte. Warm country charm combined with meticulous restoration (beams, framework, stone walls, floor tiles, mantelpieces, original molded doors...). Soothing, cozy atmosphere of a "family home". Lots of charm and character. Cosy & very cocooning.
Composition: Detached house on 2 levels adjoining the owners' home (total independence without vis-à-vis). Wifi access. Electric heating + wood-burning stove. Ground floor: kitchen, living room, 1 bedroom (bed 2 p. 160x200cm), bathroom (shower), separate toilet, laundry room (access from outside). 1st floor: TV lounge on mezzanine (sofa 2 p. 140x190cm as extra bed), 2 bedrooms (2 beds 2 p. 140x190cm including 1 on mezz. / bed 2 p. 140x190cm), shower room (shower/Wc). Double terrace + enclosed garden + bike room + private parking. Shops 12 km.
