On the edge of meadows (with Charolais sheep as peaceful neighbors!), in the heart of a charming little hamlet nestled on a rolling bocage plateau at the foot of the famous Butte de Suin, culminating at 600m above sea level on the watershed between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean. Nestled on the site of an ancient Gallic city & a major Roman road, on a natural site protected for its remarkable plant and animal (especially aquatic) ecosystem, this iconic Saône-et-Loire panoramic sentinel offers a literally exceptional 360° view, as far as Mont-Blanc on a clear day (a local saying has it that you can see 52 bell towers!). You'll enjoy a delightful 500m² walled garden, well tended and full of flowers, with a double terrace (one partly sheltered, where the old bread oven used to be) and a ping-pong table (in the old barn).
