Martine, a retired winegrower, welcomes you to an authentic, fully-restored 19th-century manor house steeped in history (formerly a "métairie"), nestled on the edge of an alleyway in the heart of a peaceful winegrowing hamlet steeped in charm & perfectly preserved, encircled by vines, located 3 km from the typical village of Chardonnay, the historic birthplace of the world-famous eponymous grape variety (elegant listed 12th-century Romanesque church, 12th-century manor house, former tithe of the Benedictine monks of Saint-Philibert de Tournus abbey, Neolithic "legend stone" dolmen listed as a Monument Historique...). Calm & tranquility in the heart of the Haut-Mâconnais Countryside (protected as a ZNIEFF for its wealth of flora & fauna), nestled on an exposed plateau in a bucolic valley of vineyards, meadows & forests, in the foothills of the South Burgundy Massif (a vast wilderness dotted with marked hiking & mountain biking trails for all levels, offering splendid panoramic viewpoints as far as Mont-Blanc on a clear day!)     Heel compleet appartement met een fijn terras. Fijne garage, heel vriendelijke gastvrouw, die tips geeft over markten en bijzondere bezienswaardigheden. Natuurlijk hadden we het weer mee, we hadden er een heerlijk verblijf!

    Très bon gite

    Gite tout confort, bonne literie, petit jardin mais suffisamment grand et bien clôturé, endroit calme. Excellent accueil et disponibilité des propriétaires. Cadeaux à l'arrivée qui font super plaisir.
    Nous étions 2 humains et 2 labradors. De bonnes balades dans les vignes et le long de la Saône.
