Isabelle welcomes you to an elegant, traditional 17th-century farmhouse, steeped in history and fully restored, situated in the heart of a peaceful rural hamlet nestling on the banks of the Saône (10 minutes' direct access on foot, ideal for fishing). A typical little village in the Countryside of the Chalonnaise, this former wine-growing village has the rare distinction of having once grown and produced the mythical "noah" wine, now banned (the "wine that makes you crazy" or "blind" according to legend). Peace & quiet in a charming, unspoilt countryside setting of fields & meadows bordering a wild Forest dotted with ponds, a stone's throw from a natural area protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" (migration & nesting stopover for a variety of bird species, some rare / European Kingfisher, Corncrake, White Stork, Red-backed Shrike, Golden Plover, Heron...). Spacious, comfortable Holiday cottage. Charming country style, combining classicism (beautiful antique furniture) & vintage spirit with rich traces of the past (fireplace mantel, brick wall, original framework...).
