At the very southern tip of Burgundy, close to the foothills of the Morvan (& Nature Park), at the crossroads of the Allier, Loire & Nièvre départements, on the edge of the splendid Charolais-Brionnais region, which has been awarded the "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire" label (land of livestock farming & traditions, cradle of the world-renowned AOC cattle breed), with its sumptuous unspoilt landscapes and exceptional historical heritage, at the crossroads of Autunois-Morvan, Sologne & Mountain Bourbonnaise and Pays Roannais (Côtes Roannaises vineyards to discover). 18 km from the medieval spa town of Bourbon-Lancy (casino on site), 26 km from the Unusual "Diverti'Parc" amusement park, 27 km from Paray-le-Monial, 35 km from the Paldenshangpa Buddhist temple at La Boulaye, 36 km from the PAL amusement park, 39 km from Charolles, 42 km from Marcigny ("Site Clunisien" renowned for its Monday morning Market created in 1266), 48 km from the delightful medieval village of Semur-en-Brionnais awarded the rare "Plus beaux villages de France" label, 54 km from Moulin & 57 km from Le Creusot TGV station. A soothing "jewel case of gentleness and serenity", a literal haven of peace for a romantic or family getaway, with idleness and lounging by the Piscine as a bonus!

Cécile & Oleg welcome you to an elegant, authentic 18th-century “character property” full of character, carefully restored to the highest standards, brimming with charm and history, nestled peacefully in the heart of the rolling Charolais countryside (largely protected as a ZNIEFF site for its rich flora and fauna), on a 10,000-square-meter private property (largely “natural,” consisting of pastures where sheep graze). Absolute peace and tranquility nestled in the heart of the sublime local bocage, just a stone’s throw from a bucolic 12-hectare pond (a renowned Fishing spot and natural site) as well as a vast, wild, and protected forest area, perched on a promontory and serving as a “panoramic lookout” on a hill overlooking a soothing valley of gentle meadows, within a peaceful little rural hamlet neighboring the typical village of Neuvy-Granchamp, known for its highly acclaimed Charolais Museum of Agricultural Machinery (the only one of its kind in Burgundy / over 500 vintage machines). Magnificent, preserved rural and natural surroundings. An extremely relaxing setting and location—a true haven of peace and rest. Very comfortable room. A delightful “mix and match” blending the opulent and refined atmosphere of an exotic old “bourgeois” residence with a warm, contemporary “Countryside chic” ambiance. Extremely cozy and comfortable.
