Discover our large Holiday cottage located in Haut Beaujolais, offering easy access to the Azergues valley, near Lamure-sur-Azergues and Col des Echarmeaux.
This spacious, completely self-contained Holiday cottage can accommodate up to 32 people in 11 rooms, making it ideal for family gatherings or friends.
Housed in a magnificent château, formerly a vacation camp, the Holiday cottage has been completely renovated by the Augay family. Every detail has been thought of to ensure a comfortable stay:
Enjoy numerous day rooms, a dining room, an activity room and two lounges, perfect for relaxing or organizing group activities (table soccer).
The rooms are very comfortable: most have single beds and private bathrooms, ensuring privacy and comfort.
A PMR area has been specially designed for people with reduced mobility.
First floor: lounge, dining room, professional kitchen, PMR area (1 bedroom, sanitary facilities).
1st floor: lounge, 9 bedrooms, sanitary facilities.
2nd floor: activity room, 2 bedrooms, toilets.the decoration and materials used preserve the authenticity and charm of the old for a unique atmosphere: terracotta floor tiles and period parquet flooring, stone walls bringing warmth and character to the whole Holiday cottage.
The Holiday cottage offers modern comfort for groups, while being environmentally friendly (wood pellet central heating).
Professional kitchen equipped to prepare delicious meals. Connected TV for your moments of relaxation.
The château's exterior is equally impressive: Beautiful terrace with fountain and olive tree approval, driveway planted with majestic century-old lime trees, offering a peaceful, verdant setting.
Obligatory package to be added to the price of the stay and paid directly to the owner: Cleaning 350€ and supply of bed linen (including beds made on arrival): 250€.

Nous avons eu la chance de célébrer notre mariage au Château de la Porte et l’expérience a été inoubliable. Le cadre est superbe, le château magnifique et restauré avec soin et goût. Tous nos invités ont été plus que ravis. Françoise, notre hôte, a été réactive et super sympathique, ce qui a rendu l’organisation encore plus agréable. Nous avons célébré notre mariage avec environ 70 convives. Le lieu est magnifique, entouré de verdure au calme. Tous les espaces sont pensés pour la collectivité. Les chambres sont confortables. La maison est lumineuse et décorée avec goût. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Le lieu est exceptionnel. Les espaces extérieurs sont polyvalent, adaptés aux enfants. Possibilité de manger, jouer dehors.
L'intérieur est décoré avec goût.Les espaces de vie sont très bien agencés.
Les chambres confortables, avec une bonne literie, elles sont aussi très bien insonorisées.
La cuisine est très bien équipée et adaptée pour accueillir tout le monde ( plusieurs frigos, une plonge...) On ne manque de rien.Je recommande chaleureusement ce gîte

Adrien Un lieu de réception exceptionnel
Nous avons célébré mes 30 ans au Château de la Porte à Saint-Nizier-d'Azergues, et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle ! Ce lieu plein de charme est parfaitement adapté aux réceptions, avec une grande salle, une cuisine professionnelle et un confort optimal pour les invités. Nous étions près de 40, et chacun a pu dormir sur place dans d'excellentes conditions. Un grand merci à Françoise, la propriétaire, pour son professionnalisme et sa disponibilité. Je recommande vivement ce château pour tout événement !
