Discover our spacious holiday cottage located in the Haut Beaujolais region, featuring a private Piscine and easy access to the Azergues Valley, near Lamure-sur-Azergues and the Col des Écharmeaux.
This spacious and completely self-contained holiday cottage can accommodate up to 32 people across 11 bedrooms, making it an ideal spot for gatherings with family or friends.
Housed in a magnificent castle—formerly a summer camp—the holiday cottage has been fully renovated by the Augay family. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure a comfortable stay:
Enjoy numerous living areas, a dining room, an activity room, and two lounges—perfect for relaxing or organizing group activities (such as foosball).
The bedrooms are very comfortable: most are equipped with single beds and private bathrooms, ensuring privacy and comfort.
A space for guests with limited mobility has been specially designed for people with reduced mobility.
Ground floor: living room, dining room, professional kitchen, accessible area (1 bedroom, restrooms).
1st floor: living room, 9 bedrooms, restrooms.
Second floor: activity room, 2 bedrooms, restrooms. The decor and materials used preserve the authenticity and charm of the historic building, creating a unique atmosphere: terracotta tile floors and period hardwood floors, along with stone walls that lend warmth and character to the entire holiday cottage.
The holiday cottage offers modern comforts suited for groups while remaining environmentally friendly (wood pellet central heating).
A professional kitchen fully equipped to prepare delicious meals. Smart TV for your leisure time.
The castle’s outdoor areas are just as impressive: A beautiful terrace featuring a fountain and an olive tree, with a path lined with majestic, century-old linden trees, offering a peaceful and lush setting.
Heated Piscine (15 × 4 m), open from May 14 to September 30. It is equipped with two safety features—a protective cover and a fence—and undergoes water testing every two months as required by the ARS.
Mandatory fees to be added to the cost of your stay and paid directly to the owner: Cleaning fee of 350€ and bed linens (including beds made on arrival): 250€.

Le lieu est exceptionnel. Les espaces extérieurs sont polyvalent, adaptés aux enfants. Possibilité de manger, jouer dehors.
L'intérieur est décoré avec goût.Les espaces de vie sont très bien agencés.
Les chambres confortables, avec une bonne literie, elles sont aussi très bien insonorisées.
La cuisine est très bien équipée et adaptée pour accueillir tout le monde ( plusieurs frigos, une plonge...) On ne manque de rien.Je recommande chaleureusement ce gîte

Adrien Un lieu de réception exceptionnel
Nous avons célébré mes 30 ans au Château de la Porte à Saint-Nizier-d'Azergues, et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle ! Ce lieu plein de charme est parfaitement adapté aux réceptions, avec une grande salle, une cuisine professionnelle et un confort optimal pour les invités. Nous étions près de 40, et chacun a pu dormir sur place dans d'excellentes conditions. Un grand merci à Françoise, la propriétaire, pour son professionnalisme et sa disponibilité. Je recommande vivement ce château pour tout événement !

Triple anniversaire Gite merveilleux
Nous avons fêté un triple anniversaire avec un groupe de 40 personnes environ dans ce merveilleux gîte. Nous avons passé un weekend inoubliable.
Le gîte est magnifiquement bien restauré à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur et très confortable et cosy. Pleins de petits détails pour une décoration simple et chaleureuse dans un très beau bâtiment ancien.
La salle à manger est claire, très agréable, bien insonorisée et spacieuse, vaisselle parfaite. Un grand écran pour regarder des photos impeccable également.
La cuisine est parfaitement équipée de grands frigos, casseroles et matériels au top, grands fours, parfaits pour un grand groupe.
Françoise la propriétaire a été à l’écoute, attentive à toutes nos demandes, pendant toute l’organisation de notre fête, très disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions.
Nous avons dégusté un excellent brunch le dimanche matin préparé par Françoise avec des gaufres délicieuses.
Certains sont partis en ballade dans la campagne environnante, faisant de jolies découvertes, petits sentiers, vaches, beaux points de vue.
Je recommande sans hésiter ce lieu qui a fait l’unanimité de tous les convives de la fête.- Cleanliness
