Built in the 11th century in the Monts du Lyonnais, the Château de Riverie is a superb character property overlooking the Lyon urban area, with a unique panoramic view of the Pilat, the Rhône Valley, the Alps and Mont Blanc (on certain days). Situated in the heart of the medieval village of Riverie, in a very quiet environment where many narrow streets converge on the covered way, our house awaits you for a tourist stay, a stopover during a private or professional trip. The 5 fully renovated Bed and breakfast rooms, each with its own personalized decor, are located on the first floor of the house and combine old-world charm with contemporary comfort. Furnished in a warm and welcoming style, each room has a sitting area, private shower room and toilet. Large windows let you enjoy the view of the village or the park. The "Les Gones" room can accommodate up to 4 people (1 bed 1.60 and alcove with 1 bunk bed). Extra beds available on request. WIFI ACCESS. On the first floor, a large day room (50 m2) is at your disposal. It features a fireplace (with wood-burning stove), a sitting area and a large table where we serve breakfast and table d'hôtes meals. Stéphane, our chef, will concoct gourmet menus based on local and seasonal produce to delight your taste buds. Gourmet baskets available on request. At the rear of the property, a large, shady, enclosed garden with a breathtaking view lets you relax on summer evenings and mornings in the shade of century-old trees. Pets allowed on request, at extra cost. Birthdays and family reunions for up to 15 people.
