This place "unlike any other" is a real success story! This majestic stone edifice, first mentioned in 1450, has undergone a major facelift. The past has not been forgotten, however, and the history of this old building has been beautifully highlighted: Former paper mill, then flour mill and vacation camp. A concept holiday is on offer: a super cosy gîte just for you, with a marvellous decor in the heart of this exceptional site. The Moulin de Nouara features five guest rooms, two self-catering cottages, an exhibition room, a small boutique selling local crafts, an artist's residence, three function rooms and a splendid auditorium with a dream program*, all set in a totally preserved natural site with a view you won't soon forget. The icing on the cake: privileged access to conferences, concerts and shows. The Moulin de Nouara is a lively, friendly cultural venue open to the public.
The Vernières gîte is a stone house detached from the main mill buildings. You'll love the pretty Gourre stream that runs right past the house.
Access is at ground level from the rear of the gîte. The living rooms are located on the second floor to benefit from the magnificent light:
