Just 150 meters from the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval, this gîte's location offers many advantages, including easy access on foot to all amenities. The Drôme des Collines region is rich in heritage and local produce. Just 7 km from Marthe Robin's Foyer de Charité, or 30 km from the medieval town of Saint-Antoine l'Abbaye - listed as one of France's most beautiful villages - Hauterives is also a starting point for numerous hiking and mountain biking trails. For gourmets, there are numerous private cellars producing prestigious Crozes-Hermitage wines such as Chapoutier and Jaboulet. For younger visitors, the Cité du Chocolat (Valrhona) in Tain l'Hermitage (30 km) is a must. Hauterives is just 30 minutes from exit 12 on the A7 motorway.

The gite - from which it takes its name - and two year-round rentals are located in a restored former taillanderie. The independent entrance opens onto a 30 m² north-east-facing terrace, leading to a living room with fully-equipped kitchen, dining table and sitting area. Ground-floor bedroom (1x140) with en-suite shower room and WC. Bathroom with walk-in shower - separate WC. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms served by a passageway (2x80 or 1x160) (2x80 or 1x160) e5 with air circulation. Possibility of a shelter for bikes and motorcycles. The plot will be finished in September 2019 and is enclosed. No vis-à-vis with the outdoor spaces of the 2 rentals.

    Séjour reposant en famille

    Notre séjour en famille a été facilité par le très bon accueil et la gentillesse de Claire et Didier. Nous avons pu profiter du gîte, du grand parc et de l'accès immédiat au centre d'Hauterives.

    Séjour très agréable

    Gite très bien agencé et idéalement placé pour visiter le palais idéal du facteur Cheval... Accueil très chaleureux de Didier, le propriétaire, très investi, ce qui contribue à ce qu'on se sente comme chez des amis. Je recommande vivement!

    Gîte très agréable et fonctionnel comme à la maison!
    La situation géographique est bien pour les visites et les balades. La proximité des commerces est un atout.

    Séjour très agréable à Noël

    Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Noël. Parking, grand jardin qui doit être agréable l’été. Jolie maison, cuisine très bien équipée; pas de toilettes à l’étage ce qui peut être gênant. Au calme tout en étant proche de la ville; Facteur Cheval, marché le mardi, boulangeries, balade le long de la Galaure: tout cela se fait à pied. Propriétaires très sympathiques. Si l’occasion se présente, nous y retournerons avec plaisir.
