Just 150 meters from the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval, this gîte's location offers many advantages, including easy access on foot to all amenities. The Drôme des Collines region is rich in heritage and local produce. Just 7 km from Marthe Robin's Foyer de Charité, or 30 km from the medieval town of Saint-Antoine l'Abbaye - listed as one of France's most beautiful villages - Hauterives is also a starting point for numerous hiking and mountain biking trails. For gourmets, there are numerous private cellars producing prestigious Crozes-Hermitage wines such as Chapoutier and Jaboulet. For younger visitors, the Cité du Chocolat (Valrhona) in Tain l'Hermitage (30 km) is a must. Hauterives is just 30 minutes from exit 12 on the A7 motorway.

The holiday cottage—from which it takes its name—and two year-round rentals are located in a restored former blade-making workshop. It has a separate entrance off a 30 m² northeast-facing terrace that leads to a living area featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table, and a sitting area.

- On the ground floor, a wheelchair-accessible bedroom (1x140) with a private bathroom and toilet. Bathroom with walk-in shower – separate toilet.
- Upstairs, there are two bedrooms accessed via a narrow hallway (2x80 or 1x160) (2x80 or 1x160), each equipped with a ceiling fan.

The holiday cottage stays cool downstairs thanks to the rammed earth walls, typical of the region, and upstairs, the ceiling fans provide pleasant cooling at night.
The “Bleue Idéale” community pool is 500 meters from the holiday cottage; admission is free for holiday cottage guests (once per day).
A shelter for bicycles and motorcycles is available. The property, landscaped in September 2019, is enclosed. The outdoor areas of both rentals are not overlooked by neighboring properties.
