Nestled in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne and 4 km from Salers, this former barn, fully renovated in 2019, has been awarded the "Gîte de Fishing" label and is Ecogests and Biodiversity qualified, welcoming you to a calm, unspoilt, verdant environment.
Situated in the heart of the Maronne valley, this region is ideal for Hiking (GR400, PR, Puy Violent, Grand Site National du Puy Mary), Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the Col de Légal or Le Falgoux, and Fishing (the Maronne river is 100 m from the gîte). You can also visit the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and the castles of Trémolière, Anjony and Auzers. This Holiday cottage has semi-enclosed grounds and a terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue. Fitted kitchenette, living room with wood-burning stove (free wood), flat-screen TV, DVD player and Internet access, 1 bedroom with 1 x 160x200 bed, 1 bedroom with 2 x 90cm beds, shower room, separate toilet. Beds made on arrival and bathroom linen provided. Heating with wood-burning stove and recent electric radiators (wood included and electricity according to consumption). Holiday cottage can be heated exclusively with wood. All-inclusive rates in high and very high seasons. Grocery, bakery, butcher and restaurants in Salers 4km away.

Elise nous a accueilli très chaleureusement et nous a donné des conseils de randonnées accessibles pour notre niveau (cad avec un bébé d'un an). Gite très confortable, très bien équipé pour les adultes et pour les petits (barrière poêle, baignoire, lit, chaise haute). Cadre très calme à deux pas de Salers et bien situé vis à vis des points d'interet touristiques. Nous recommandons vivement !

Pascal B merveilleuses vacances à la grange du Milou
Un lieu retiré au fond d'une vallée, la nature à l'horizontal et la verticale à portée de mains. En cette saison, la vague verte laisse place en l'espace d'un temps neigeux, à un territoire isolé intemporel. Un accueil qui nous invite à penser que l'on fait partie de la famille ; calme, la douceur du gîte nous chuchotent de revenir. C'est chose faite, nous avons savourer pour le second hiver un échantillon de cette saison. Envie de découvrir ce Cantal au printemps et été. Merci Elise de nous permettre de vivre de belles parenthèses.
