Situated in the south of the Cantal region, close to the Lot and Aveyron departments, this charming detached character house dating from 1846 and fully renovated in 2013 welcomes you to a relaxing environment.
Nearby attractions include the Goul valley, Truyère gorges, Lot valley, Monts du Cantal, Conques abbey church, the small towns of Montsalvy and Marcolès, Monts d'Aubrac, Vieillevie fortified castle, and the Mourjou chestnut house.
The house has a terrace and a pleasant semi-enclosed plot of 2000 m² with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue. There are plenty of shady areas, and to the rear of the house you'll find a small chestnut grove.
First floor: living room with fireplace (free wood-burning stove), flat-screen TV, equipped kitchenette. Upstairs, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, shower room with jet shower and toilet. Baby equipment available: cot, high chair, bathtub, safety gate for stairs. Electric heating according to consumption. Rates include all charges in high and very high seasons.

Très bon séjour au Vachandou
5/5La propriétaire est très sympathique et de bon conseil pour les excursions et randonnées. Maison très cosy et agréable, on se sent tout de suite chez soi. Le poêle à bois est un plus pour des soirées bien au chaud. Gîte très bien situé et très calme, avec un grand jardin. A recommander !
