At the edge of the woods, in a peaceful setting where only the song of the cicadas disturbs the silence, the Holiday cottage Le Micocoulier invites you to enjoy a vacation in complete serenity. Located in the commune of Vagnas, between Vallon Pont d'Arc and Barjac, you're in the heart of an unspoilt region, just a stone's throw from the Gard region and close to the famous Grotte Chauvet 2.
This large stone building, typical of the lower Ardèche region, exudes authentic charm.
The Holiday cottage, adjoining an outbuilding, is decorated in a warm, natural style: exposed stone walls, elegant vaulted ceilings, fireplace with wood-burning insert... Everything here exudes character and a gentle way of life.
The interior features a magnificent vaulted stone living room with a fully-equipped kitchenette, a large, cosy sitting room with sofa, armchairs and two 90 cm single beds, and a comfortable bedroom with a 160 cm bed. The bathroom with WC completes the ensemble. Electric heating for all-season comfort.
Outside, a pretty terrace and shady grounds await you for meals or moments of relaxation. The unoverlooked property offers a beautiful view of the surrounding Countryside. In the evening, sit out in the garden to watch the sun set and enjoy the peace and quiet.
The surrounding area abounds in activities and discoveries: swimming and canoeing in the Gorges de l'Ardèche, walking or cycling in the beautiful Ardèche countryside, visiting the Château des Roure or the charming village of Barjac. Markets, local produce and a host of summer events will make your stay in the Sud Ardèche an unforgettable experience.

Maison de famille depuis 1736, nous avons essayé de garder l'authenticité de la maison, les anciens murs épais d'un mètre gardent la fraîcheur en été. Le terrain ombragé permet de profiter de l'extérieur même en cas de grande chaleur. La propriétaire vous accueillera avec l'accent chantant accompagné par les cigales.

L'hébergement est très très bien situé par rapport aux sites a visiter dans la région.
Il y a un producteur, vendeur de légumes juste à côté.
Le logement reste frais même en période de caniculeNous avons été très bien pris en charge.

Mimi Séjour au Micocoulier
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au Micocoulier. Le gîte est très confortable et spacieux. Il est idéalement situé, au calme et proche des sites touristiques.

Capucine Quelques jours en Ardèche (juin 2025)
Merci à Mme Raymond pour son accueil sympathique et pour les renseignements qu'elle nous a fournis sur la région. Le gîte bien équipé, est parfait et nous a offert une agréable fraîcheur dans une période où le thermomètre flirtait avec 35°C. Le gite est idéalement situé entre Vallon Pont d'Arc et l'aven d'Orgnac,... bref une adresse que nous recommandons!
