Gîte spacieux et confortable pour 6 à 12 personnes, avec piscine privative et jacuzzi, dans une ancienne ferme fortifiée en pierres apparentes entièrement rénovée, dans un environnement calme, boisé et vallonné.
Rez-de-chaussée : entrée, cuisine-salle à manger, double salon, salle d'eau avec douche à l'italienne et wc. A l'étage : 1 chambre avec 2 lits 90, 2 chambres avec lit 160, salle d'eau, wc.
Jardin privatif 2 hectares avec piscine privative (11 x 5,5m, avec alarme, du 01/06 au 24/09). Garage, ping-pong, trampoline, espace jacuzzi dans un bâtiment annexe, avec douche et wc.
Linge de maison fournis, lits faits à l'arrivée. Possibilité de ménage régulier pendant le séjour.
Possibilité de louer une annexe mitoyenne pour 6 pers. supplémentaires, classé 4 épis.

A lovely house in a beautiful location! The pool is fantastic and the grounds are wonderful. It’s very private, you are not overlooked at all, surrounded by huge trees.
It’s worth noting that there is no air conditioning and it was almost 40 degrees whilst we were there. The house only had 1 fan but the owners bought us 2 more when we explained how hot the rooms were (absolutely boiling).
We were a party of 6 and there is only 4 sun loungers and only enough rattan seating for 4 people so it would have been nice to have enough seating and loungers for all of us. If you had rented the other half of the gite as well you’d be fighting over comfortable seating.
Also there is only 1 sharp knife and it’s a bread knife so you have to do all of your chopping with a bread knife (which is difficult). A knife block with a selection of different sharp knives would have been nice. Also there is only 1 small wooden shopping board. Again, as a family of 6 doing lots of cooking, only having 1 small chopping board made things tricky. Also there is no cheese grater.
One more thing, the pillows are square (like from a sofa) and are quite thin. I had to fold it in half and stuff towels under it to make it anywhere near comfortable. More pillows would have made sleeping nicer.
However, we would definitely stay again and we loved our stay.- Propreté

We are delighted that you had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed the house, the surroundings and the swimming pool. Regarding the garden furniture, the four sun loungers are complemented by six deckchairs, two armchairs, one garden sofa and twelve outdoor chairs. As for the crockery, the previous tenants mixed up the knives and chopping boards with those in the annexe of the gîte, for which we apologise. We have taken note of your comments about the pillows and will increase the number available. We look forward to welcoming you back again.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gîte de Château Guyon, dans un cadre superbe, calme, intime et apaisant. La maison est très confortable, et bien équipée. Les extérieurs, avec la grande piscine, la table de ping-pong, les fléchettes (etc.) ont fait le bonheur des enfants !

It is a magical place with so many rural attractions close by. The river is idyllic. Anyone staying here will have a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday.
