Vous serez situés au cœur de la petite ville de Chinon, au calme, dans une ancienne demeure du XVIème siècle superbement restaurée. Le respect de l'environnement a été un des fils conducteurs du projet de Véronique, la propriétaire, de son mari et leurs enfants. Tout y a été conçu afin que vous vous y sentiez comme dans un cocon. L'ambiance et l'équipement vont vous permettre de séjourner en toute sérénité et votre venue en Touraine sera ainsi synonyme de succès. Quel plaisir de parcourir les rues et ruelles de cette petite cité qui accueillit jadis Jeanne D'Arc venue rencontrer le Roi Charles VII dans son château royal. Balades sur les bords de la Vienne, à pied, à vélo (parcours de la Loire à Vélo), sur la Vienne en canoë, les découvertes seront innombrables. Chinon est aussi le nom d'un grand vignoble. Les visites chez nos vignerons sont donc incontournables ! Rigny-Ussé, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais sont très proches. Chenonceau, Amboise, Chambord sont très faciles d'accès.
Gîte tout inclus (sauf taxe de séjour). R.d.c. : salon (canapé, TV, chaîne hi-fi), séjour-cuisine équipée (poêle à bois), 1 ch (1 lit de 160x200 cm ), salle d'eau avec WC. Étage : 1 ch ( 1 lit 180 x 200 cm ou possibilité de 2 lits de 90x200cm , 1 ch (1 lit 140x190 cm ), salle d'eau (lave-linge) et wc séparé. Connexion Wifi. Gîte non spécifiquement adapté aux personnes en situation de handicap. Chauffage électrique (inclus aux tarifs). Véranda, jardin 500 m² clos. Inclus aux tarifs : chauffage, électricité, bois, draps, tout le linge (toilette et maison) et ménage fin de séjour. Gîte non fumeur. Valeurs Parc Naturel Régional.

World Travelers Wonderful place to stay
The owners were really wonderful. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was easy to walk into town and there was space for everything. We would definitely stay there again if we came back. The staircase to the upper floor has a wonderful, medieval feel. You feel like you are walking up to the King’s chambers.

LM Fantastic Gite in a wonderful location
La Courtille is a lovely, large, clean, and very comfortable gite that is even better than shown in the photos. We particularly appreciated the lovely outdoor terrasse, it was great to sit out after a day of sight seeing. The owner, Véronique, gave us a wonderful welcome when we arrived, and was available for help throughout our stay, but wasn't intrusive. The gite is in a quiet area of Chinon, but within only a few minutes you can walk into the centre of this beautiful, historic, town. There is so much to see and do in Chinon itself and in the local area - we particularly loved sampling the local wine, food and visiting the gorgeous chateaux. Thank you Véronique for making our stay so very special. We can't wait to go back!

Le gîte est agréable, spacieux et bénéficie d'une excellente localisation. Il est à l'image de la propriétaire accueillante et très investie dans son rôle. Parfait pour un séjour plutôt touristique.

Jds Mooie gite en een hartelijke ontvangst
De ontvangst van de eigenaren is zeer hartelijk. Je krijgt alle uitleg zowel van da gite als van de bezienswaardigheden in de regio. Chinon is een mooi stadje dat rust uitstraalt en de ligging van de gite is niet anders.

Bernard & Clare Holiday stay 29/06/24 to 05/07/24
The Gite owner, Veronique, was very welcoming and showed us where everything was and explained how things worked and left a lovely welcome pack. She also gave us lots of information on places to see and things to do.
The Gite itself comprises a renovated 15th century house with its own stone spiral staircase, an extension at ground floor level, a conservatory and outdoor seating area. The Gite shares a vehicular entrance with the Gite owner’s house but is well secluded from the main property.
The Gite is within a short walking distance to the centre of Chinon with a Boulangerie/ Pâtisserie on the way and a Carrefour city in the centre where you can get basic provisions. For a bigger shop there is an E. Lerclerc hyperamarche outside the town on the road to Azay-Le-Rideau.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this Gite.- Propreté

Tom & Salome Simply the best
This was our second visit to this wonderfully restored gite in Chinon. Very well equipped, clean, in a quiet area and in a great location in Chinon.
We have travelled a lot over the years and it is absolutely correct and accurate to highly recommend this property.
Veronique and Luke are very welcoming, considerate, and genuine people. We feel like we have made new friends.
We are already planning our return for 2025.
