A collection of airplanes in flying condition!Musée Volant Salis
All the aircraft on display are in flying condition. In 1909, Louis Blériot was the first to cross the English Channel in his plane. It was then that Jean-Baptiste Salis first became involved in aviation. Three years later, Salis took to the skies in a " dragonfly " he had refurbished himself, and a few years later became the first aviator to fly over Mont Blanc.

A landscaped heritage siteDomaine de Chamarande
In 2001, the Essonne Departmental Council decided to turn this emblematic site, owned by the Department since 1978 but closed to the general public, into a flagship cultural facility for Essonne, with the aim of "reconnecting contemporary artistic creation with its natural setting", in particular the visual arts, thus giving all Essonniens access to what is today their heritage.
