Chalmazel is a winter sports resort in the Massif Central, located in the municipality of the same name. Its alpine ski area stretches from 1,109 to 1,600 meters above sea level on the slopes of Pierre-sur-Haute, the highest point of the Monts du Forez (1,634 meters), between the Forest and the Hautes Chaumes moors.
