Colmar, La Petite Venise

Its nickname is evocative. La Petite Venise de Colmar is certainly Colmar's warmest and most romantic district. It's a picturesque tourist district in the heart of the old City. Located in the Krutenau district, in the southern suburbs of Colmar's historic center, it's named after Venice, in Italy, in reference to the historic organization of life in the district, around the Lauch canals.

The Hartmannswillerkopf

Also known as Vieil Armand, is located in Alsace (Grand Est region), between Mulhouse and Colmar, more precisely between Thann and Guebwiller, on the Route des Crêtes (Silberloch pass, at 956m. - 68700 Wattwiller. It bears witness to the terrible conflicts of the Great War. A major historical site in Alsace, the site preserves the brands of this heavy past, which must be preserved to perpetuate the memory, so that nothing is forgotten.

The Route des Crêtes

This panoramic route stretches for over 70 km, from Cernay to Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, and takes in the Markstein, the Grand Ballon (the highest peak in the Vosges mountains), the Hohneck and the Col de la Schlucht. It is accessible from the Doller, Thur, Florival, Munster, Weiss and Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines valleys.
