La Grange d'Augusta is an ideal base for exploring the Vaucluse region: 20km from Orange, 22km from Vaison-la-Romaine, 27km from Avignon, 32km from Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, 35km from the summit of the Géant de Provence. The local heritage includes a Romanesque chapel and a pre-Romanesque church. The hilltop villages of Séguret, Le Crestet, Suzette and Le Barroux are also well worth a visit. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, climbing, road biking or horseback riding in the magnificent Dentelles de Montmirail.
