The name of this village comes from “Gargan,” meaning “mountain.” This town in the Luberon Regional Nature Park, located between Roussillon and the Colorado de Rustrel, is part of the “Chaîne des Ocres” and has managed to preserve the tranquility of a village, making it an ideal starting point for exploring the northern Luberon region.
