La Tourelle aux hirondelles

Village house in the historic center of Entrecasteaux. La tourelle aux hirondelles (the swallow turret) invites you to discover the art of living in Provence, and lives up to its name with its staircase leading up to the roof, from where you can admire the swallows' nests hanging from the genoises. Close to shops (brasserie, ice-cream parlour, bakery, butcher's shop, artist's gallery...), the Château and its French garden (open Sundays and public holidays from Easter to the end of June and every day except Saturday until the end of September), and La Bresque and its well-maintained 1,000 m-long path running alongside the river from the waterfall to the bridge over the D50 (fishing spot, picnic tables, watering hole, "point info pêche"). Park your car at the Holiday cottage entrance to drop off your luggage, then park in the Public parking lot 100m away. South-facing main entrance: (3 steps up) entrance hall, toilet with washbasin, cupboard, broom room, stairs down to a vaulted stone room with small lounge bar opening onto a stoop with small terrace and garden furniture, an invitation to relax on the house's stoop overlooking a quiet, picturesque cobbled lane. A staircase leads from the entrance to the 1st floor, with its double bedroom (1 bed 140x190cm), terracotta shower and washbasin. On the 2nd floor is the main room with kitchenette (oven, top fridge, 4-burner electric hob, sink), dining table and mezzanine under the roof opening onto the kitchen with sofa bed and TV. Utilities included, bed linen and towels provided, end-of-stay cleaning and heating included.
