Close to the town of Briançon, in a peaceful hamlet with traditional mountain buildings, it's in this environment that Martine and Dominique, the owners, will be delighted to welcome you. Les Granges de l'Infernet" has its own entrance and is on two levels. Tastefully renovated, it is located in a stone village house comprising the owners' home and another gîte. First floor: large living room with fitted kitchen, dining area, sitting area and south-facing balcony. Upstairs: a double bedroom with a 160*200cm bed; a triple bedroom with 2 90*190cm beds and a 80*190cm trundle bed; a bathroom with a large shower cubicle and an independent, private toilet. Enjoy a moment of peace and quiet facing the Infernet fort on the south-facing balcony accessible from the living room, or on the north/west-facing terrace in front of the entrance to the gîte on the edge of the forest. Heating via oil-fired boiler and underfloor heating (solar panels). Shared equipment room in front of the gîte entrance. For a comfortable stay: bed linen, towels and table linen are included in the price. Numerous possibilities for outdoor and leisure activities on site or nearby: hiking on site and in the Clarée valley 10 km away, mountain biking, Chantemerle organic bathing resort 8 km away and Pontillas lake with organic bathing resort 11 km away, fishing in the nearby Durance river; for winter sports: downhill skiing 3 km from the Prorel -Serre-Chevalier lift, 10 km from the Montgenèvre slopes, cross-country skiing: 2 km from La Vachette and 3.5 km from Les Alberts.
