Les Ecureuils

In the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Queyras, surrounded by nature and bordering a forest, Laurence and Faustin, the owners, will be delighted to welcome you to this unspoilt environment. The "Les Ecureuils" gîte is located on the 2nd floor of the owners' chalet, which includes their home as well as year-round accommodation. The accommodation has its own independent entrance, accessed via two outside staircases ending in Japanese steps. The gîte has two levels, each carefully furnished to provide every comfort. On the first level: a large, bright living room with fully-equipped kitchen, dining area and relaxation area; a storeroom, a double bedroom, a shower room and an independent, private toilet. The second level features a double bedroom with a small private balcony, as well as a small bedroom with a single bed, offering the possibility of an extra bed if required. From the living room, enjoy a moment of peace and quiet on the south/east-facing balcony, with its unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains (La Roche des Clots, La Pointe des Marcelettes, La Gardiole de l'Alp) and the sound of the Aigue Blanche torrent below. Secure equipment room available on request. Private parking in front of the gîte. Electric heating. The Queyras Regional Nature Park offers an exceptional environment and a wide range of sporting and outdoor activities for families and experienced sports enthusiasts alike: hiking, mountain biking, via ferrata, cycling (Col de l'Izoard) and, in winter, access to the ski resorts of Molines-St-Véran (3.5 km) and Arvieux (11 km).
