L'Ecureuil

Located in the village of Chabottes, at an altitude of 1090 m, in the heart of the Champsaur valley and just a stone's throw from the Parc des Écrins.

An old family farmhouse renovated in the traditional style, combining charm and comfort. It's detached, south-facing and overlooks the valley.
This 6-person gîte is ideally located for summer and winter activities, but is also an invitation to calm and well-being. In the center of the six Champsaur resorts: St-Léger, Chaillol, Orcières Merlette, Ancelle, Serre-Eyraud and Laye, but also close to hiking trails and other activities, as well as the Champsaur lake.

Entrance through hall to large living room with fitted kitchen opening onto dining area and sitting area with fireplace (wood supplied). Microwave oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, raclette and fondue machines, washing machine, TV, Wi-Fi Internet connection.
Upstairs, 3 bedrooms: one with a 160cm bed, one with a 140cm bed and a 90cm bed, and one with a 90cm trundle bed.
Two bathrooms with walk-in shower, 2 separate WCs (one on the ground floor and one on the first floor). Motorcycle shed and ski room.
Includes: all household and bathroom linen, baby equipment, wood, utilities, games, books, etc. Optional: housekeeping package, electric hook-up (contact us to check availability) and pet (with agreement).

You will be welcomed by the owners, Linda and Roland, who will introduce you to the gîte and give you information about the valley. As they live close by, they're always on hand to answer any questions you may have. Roland is a woodworker, and you'll have the pleasure of discovering his creations in the gîte, as well as meeting him in his workshop.
