This Holiday cottage is housed in the former school of Prapic, a charming hamlet nestled at the bottom of the Drac Noir valley. The location of Holiday cottage l'École is ideal for mountain lovers, as it is the starting point for many easy to very challenging Hiking trails (Tombeau du poète, Plateau de Charnière, Saut du Laire, Col de Réallon, Dormillouse, Chateauroux-les-Alpes or Freissinières).
The entrance on the square side leads to the Holiday cottage via a staircase leading to two other rarely-occupied units. The large entrance hall is ideal for storing your hiking gear, and features a wood-burning stove that provides the main heating for the entire Holiday cottage (wood supplied).
The living room opens onto a long balcony with a magnificent view of the Orcières valley. It features a sitting area (TV, DVD player and USB port) and communicates with a semi-open, integrated kitchen. The entrance hall leads to two large bedrooms (one with a double bed and two bunk beds (the high bed is not suitable for Kids under six), and a second with a double bed and a single bed), the shower room and the toilet. Private garden available, under the balcony, accessible from the outside (left side of the Holiday cottage). 1-2 parking spaces to the side of the Holiday cottage. Orcières village 4km, Orcières Base de loisirs 5km and Orcières-Merlette ski resort 9km. On-site: 2 inns, an information point open in summer and the Museums de la Casse. Space heaters. Electricity not included. Good network coverage (3G and 4G).
