L'Échappée du Col Bayard

This pleasant Detached house is located in the heart of the peaceful hamlet of Chauvet, in the commune of Gap. Nestled in a quiet, natural setting, it's an ideal base for discovering the Hautes-Alpes while enjoying a relaxing stay. The house has a large, unfenced plot of land and a vast 30 m² terrace, perfect for al fresco dining, relaxing or simply admiring the surrounding countryside. The interior features a bright, friendly living area with a sitting area, a dining area and a modern, fully-equipped open-plan kitchen. The sleeping area comprises two comfortable double bedrooms, each with a 140 x 190 cm bed. A functional shower room and separate toilet complete the layout. Nearby, there's a wealth of activities on offer: Hiking and mountain biking in the surrounding mountains, exploring the historic center of Gap, Swimming and water sports at Lake Serre-Ponçon, accrobranche (tree climbing), golf at Gap-Bayard or winter sports in the Champsaur and Dévoluy resorts, less than an hour away.
A nod to history: the hamlet of Chauvet is one of the old farming hamlets that surrounded Gap. Like many of these small Mountain villages, it grew up around farming and stockbreeding, retaining its authentic character and peaceful setting to this day.
