Le Roc de Garnesier

At the entrance to the Dévoluy massif, close to the great outdoors, in the heart of the small village of La Cluse, Jérôme the owner will be delighted to welcome you. The "Le Roc de Garnesier" gîte is located in a completely renovated village house, combining modern comfort with the warmth of an old building. The accommodation has three levels and two independent entrances (one on the parking side on the ground floor, and the other on the back of the house on the garden side corresponding to the 1st floor). First floor: entrance hall; fitted kitchen with dining area and separate toilet. 1st floor: cosy mountain-style living room with wood-burning stove, dining room with access to the garden and small terrace; second living room (with the option of sleeping 2 on a Bultex sofa bed); double bedroom and shower room/WC. On the 2nd floor, under the roof and accessible via a miller's ladder, there's a small bedroom (-6m²) with a double bed and private shower room. South/west-facing terrace and garden with barbecue area. Secure equipment room. Electric heating as well as wood-burning stove in the living room on the 1st floor (wood included) and reversible air-conditioning in the kitchen on the ground floor. Communal parking nearby. Numerous possibilities for outdoor activities nearby and for discovering the flora and fauna: hiking trails (100m away), mountain biking and ski touring. Close to the resorts of La Joue du Loup and Superdévoluy, as well as Veynes, while enjoying the peace and beauty of the mountains for your moments of idleness. At the foot of the Combe de la Cluse, you can access one of the Dévoluy's emblematic peaks, the Pic de Bure. Dévoluy also offers via ferrata, via souterrata and horseback riding, as well as a sports center and wellness facilities. And in winter, there's skiing in all its forms, as well as snowshoeing and dog-sledding.
