La Mélézière - L'Ecrin

Anne and Guy will be delighted to welcome you to their carefully renovated barn, 1.5 km from the resort of Les Orres, in the hamlet of Le Mélézet, in an exceptional natural setting. The "La Mélézière - L'Ecrin" gîte is located on the 1st floor of the owners' house (including a 2nd gîte on the 2nd floor) and has its own entrance. It comprises a spacious fitted kitchen with dining area, laundry room, WC and a large living area; three double bedrooms (with 160*200cm beds) each with en suite shower room/WC and an additional island bath for one of them. A gym with infrared sauna is available on the lower level. A terrace and large balcony offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Ski storage. Pellet stove heating. Private parking in front of the gîte. Free shuttle service during the winter season to the Les Orres ski resort, which offers a wide range of leisure activities in summer and winter alike. The nearby Lac de Serre-Ponçon, Embrun lake, the Durance river and the Ecrins National Park also offer a wide range of activities. For example, you can ski, snowboard, snowshoe, downhill mountain bike, hike or bike, skate in the Les Orres ice rink, swim in the pool (very nice pool in Les Orres open in summer, or in the Embrun aquatic area all year round) or in the Embrun lake, sail, windsurf, kite surf, canyoning, canoe kayak, via ferrata, zip lines, paraglide...
