In the heart of this quiet hamlet near Briançon, a large, old 18th-century country house has been completely renovated, with a large living room featuring large windows overlooking the hamlet and mountains. Lots of charm and character for this gîte ideally located at the crossroads of several valleys (Ecrins, Cervières, Névache, Serre-Chevalier, Les Ayes and the GR 5) with hiking trails starting from the gîte. Independent entrance via outside staircase and south-facing balcony. Living room with sitting area, TV and wood-burning stove, dining area, open kitchen with utility room (dishwasher, freezer, microwave oven, washing machine and comprehensive equipment). Three bedrooms (2 double beds and 2 single beds) with beds made up on arrival: 2 bedrooms on the 1st level and an attic bedroom on the upper level. Cot and high chair available. Bathroom, toilet. Central heating with wood-burning stove for auxiliary heating. Garden furniture on 10 m² balcony. 50 m² terrace below the gîte. Internet connection. Optional cleaning and linen hire available. On the first floor, not overlooked, a peaceful year-round rental, another gîte is located at the west end of the building. Public parking nearby, unloading possible in front of the house.

Very relaxed holiday!
5/5Chantal welcomed us to her spacious gîte. The gîte is a few hundreds meters away from the main road ("route nationale") and less than a kilometre from a supermarket (Lidl). We had a great holiday with sports activities in Serre Chevalier (rafting, canyoning, via ferrata, zip line, mountain bike, ... ) but after an activity, the kids liked to 'chill' and relax in the gîte (and the wifi was good, which they find important ;)
Chantal was always very helpful, and also provided medical aid to my son who bruised his foot, for which we are very gratefull! I can only recommend this stay :)- Cleanliness 5/5

5/5Notre séjour dans La Maison de Toinette 2 a été très agréable grâce à Chantal chez qui nous avions déjà passé un séjour et qui est une personne d’une grande gentillesse, toujours disponible. Le gite est très confortable, soigné et fonctionnel. La location est très bien conçue, aménagée avec du gout et d'une grandeur parfaite pour se sentir à l'aise. La propriétaire a pensé à tout, il nous tarde de revenir. A très bientôt !
