La Gypaette

The Holiday cottage "La Gypaette" is located in the hamlet of Mélezet, just before the resort of Les Orres. Divided into three Holiday cottages, this two-storey cottage is accessed via a ground-floor entrance. The living room and kitchen area (25 m²) features a fireplace, and practical equipment: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven. On the same level is a shower room and toilet. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (2 double beds, 3 single beds including 2 bunk beds) (high bedding not suitable for Kids under 6), sleeping area (2 single bunk beds) and a shower room. Electric heating. Baby equipment available on request (high chair, cot, stroller, etc.). Garden with garden furniture, table tennis, sandpit, swing (in summer) to enjoy the outside of this Holiday cottage (shared with tenants of other Holiday cottages). Linen and towels can be hired from a laundry. Just 30 m from the Holiday cottage, a free shuttle bus provides winter access to the Les Orres ski resort, just 1.5 km from the Holiday cottage. The ski resort welcomes you all year round in an exceptional natural setting. From its ski area, which rises above Lake Serre-Ponçon, you can admire the panorama of the Ecrins National Park on one side and the Parpaillon massif on the other, stroll along the slopes lined with larch forests, and soak up the sunshine of the Southern Alps. On site: a wide choice of activities to complement Alpine skiing and discover the mountains in a different way. Ice rinks, tobogganing, Cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, paragliding... In summer, there are numerous Hiking trails in the vicinity of the Holiday cottage, such as "Les sources de Jérusalem", an easy, regular trail along a forest road.
