Welcome to Théus, a charming village in the Hautes-Alpes ideally situated between the mountains and the Lake. This spacious Holiday cottage, located on the first floor of the owner's house, offers a calm and friendly environment in which to relax and discover the region's natural riches. The apartment is spacious and comfortable for the whole family. It comprises a large, bright living room with sitting and dining areas, and a separate, fully-equipped kitchen. The sleeping area comprises two double bedrooms, each with a 140 x 190 cm bed. Outside, you'll enjoy a large private terrace of 100m², ideal for outdoor meals and moments of relaxation. In front of the house, the large, fully fenced, flower-filled courtyard is at your disposal, both for parking and for a game of pétanque or other outdoor pursuits.
In terms of discoveries and activities, Holiday cottage La Cavale is ideally located:
- Lake Serre-Ponçon, the jewel in the crown of the Southern Alps, offers swimming, sailing, paddle-boarding and cruises, - the Muséoscope du lac traces the lake's history, before and after the construction of the large dam, - the curious Demoiselles Coiffées de Théus, a spectacular geological formation, intrigues visitors, - orchards and vineyards occupy the valley, and a visit to the Maison du Vigneron is an opportunity to find out more,
- the 3 Las site, accessible by bike (5km), is a must for bathing, but also for go-karting or wake-boarding, - Fishing can be done in the Compensation Lake or in the Durance River, as you wish, - Canoeing lets you discover the Durance Valley on the water, - and finally, Hiking or Mountain biking is accessible from the Holiday cottage.
