Welcome to Théus, a charming village in the Hautes-Alpes, ideally located between the mountains and the lake. This spacious holiday cottage, located on the upper floor of the owner’s home, welcomes you to a quiet and friendly setting, perfect for relaxing and exploring the region’s natural beauty.
The apartment offers generous space and comfortable accommodations for the whole family. It features a large, bright living room with a sitting area and dining space, as well as a fully equipped separate kitchen. The sleeping area consists of two double bedrooms, each with a Bed 140 x 190. A bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet complete the layout.
Outside, you’ll enjoy a large private terrace measuring 100m², perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing. In front of the house, the large, flower-filled, fully fenced yard is at your disposal, whether for parking or for a game of pétanque or other outdoor activities.
When it comes to sightseeing and activities, La Cavale is ideally located:
- Lake Serre-Ponçon, a true gem of the Southern Alps, offers swimming, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, and boat cruises,
- the Muséoscope du Lac traces the lake’s history, both before and after the construction of the great dam,
- the curious “Demoiselles Coiffées de Théus,” a spectacular geological formation, intrigue visitors,
- orchards and Vineyards dot the valley, and a visit to the Maison du Vigneron is a great opportunity to learn more,
- The 3 Las site, accessible by bike (5 km), is a must-see spot for Swimming, as well as for go-karting or wakeboarding,
- You can go fishing in the compensation lake or in the Durance River, depending on your preference,
- Canoeing lets you explore the Durance Valley from the water,
- and finally, hiking (on foot or by mountain bike) is accessible right from the holiday cottage.
