Gîte La Louvetière

La Louvetière is an Alpine village house located in the heart of the hamlet of Le Bez, in La Salle-les-Alpes, in the Serre Chevalier 1400 valley. This traditional Hautes-Alpes house is distinguished by its vaulted rooms and authentic architecture, spread over several levels. Completely renovated, it combines the charm of the past with contemporary high-standard equipment. The house also boasts an inner courtyard, ideal for relaxing in complete privacy.
Its history dates back to the 50s, when it became the first home in France to cater for Kids with asthma, under the direction of Gisèle Muguet, an emblematic figure and founder of the establishment. Thanks to her extraordinary personality, Gisèle and her husband André created a legendary home, where family spirit and conviviality were at the heart of every moment. After a long period of inactivity, their grandson Julien decided to breathe new life into this legendary place, while preserving its historic character.
The house offers absolute comfort, with 6 spacious and elegant bedrooms, some with king-size or queen-size beds. It can accommodate up to 15 guests in a warm, refined atmosphere. The vast living-dining room, bathed in natural light, is at the center of the house, with a modern open-plan kitchen and bar area. A TV room with fireplace lets you relax after a day on the slopes or in the surrounding mountains. 3 private parking spaces nearby. La Louvetière also features a gaming room equipped with a pool table, piano and chess table, ideal for prolonging evenings in a cosy atmosphere. Every space has been designed to provide a pleasant setting, conducive to conviviality and Wellbeing.
