L'Ouliveto

On a small country road between Mouriès and Maussane, in the heart of the Alpilles, a magnificent 60-hectare estate of olive trees and pinewoods: a timeless place in a majestic setting. This estate benefits from the Alpilles Natural Park Value Label.

Shared facilities with 2 other self-catering cottages 50m away: shared fenced swimming pool (13x6m salt-treated - depth 1.50 - open from 01/05 to 15/10, 9am to 8pm). Ping-pong table. Barbecue and fridge/freezer in pool house with dining area.

L'Ouliveto" is a single-storey gîte on the ground floor, adjoining another house (no facing building). The vaulted rooms and thick walls of this former 18th-century oil mill will tell you that they once housed olive oil vats, and will speak of alchemy, green gold and fruity nectar with incomparable virtues. But these beautiful walls don't let wi-fi through!
Enter through the courtyard/garden (30 m² with garden furniture) into the living area: corner sofa, dining area, fitted kitchen (dishwasher, 4-burner ceramic hob, oven, microwave, 1 large fridge/freezer + 1 table-top fridge, small appliances), flat-screen TV. 4-person bedroom with 2-person bed (160x200cm) and glass-enclosed sleeping area with 2 bunk beds (90x190cm). Bathroom with 80x80cm shower, washbasin, WC and heated towel rail.
Small cellar with washing machine and storage space.
Electric heating included - bed linen and towels for hire - end-of-stay cleaning on request - cot and high chair on request - barbecue and plancha.

Christine and her husband will introduce you to the work of the olive tree, and let you taste their olive oil (you'll become an expert!). Sébastien, their son, will welcome you to his equestrian center (opposite the property) to share horseback rides in the Alpilles. He'll tell you his stories of horse breeding... An unforgettable stay.
