L'Ecurie

Located in the countryside just 12km from Aix-en-Provence, on an equestrian estate, the Ecurie gîte is set in a 16th-century farmhouse. As its name suggests, it adjoins a former stable, with exposed stonework, beams, a period fireplace, floor tiles and an old hay rack. Three other gîtes and the owners' home are also on site.

First floor: air-conditioned living room with fully-equipped kitchen (induction hob, oven, microwave, dolce gusto pod coffee maker, dishwasher), sitting area with flat-screen TV, fireplace (can be used on request, 1st flambé free of charge - €10 per wheelbarrow of wood), dining area.
1st air-conditioned bedroom with 1 x 2-person bed 160x200cm and 1 x 1-person bed 90x190cm, large wardrobe/dressing room, small interior patio. Bathroom with small bath, heated towel rail and washing machine. Separate WC.

Upstairs: 2nd air-conditioned bedroom with 2 single beds 90x190cm, en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and WC. View of the former stable.

Private terrace with garden furniture, shaded by wisteria. Communal swimming pool 9 x 4.5 m, 1.20 to 1.65 m deep, open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., June to September. Barbecue. Large outdoor space shared with other gîtes. Air conditioning included. Wi-Fi access.

Ping-pong table, volleyball net, pétanque court available.

Heating package in winter (on meter reading). End-of-stay cleaning optional, sheets, towels and table linen available for hire.

Venelles is 2.5 km away and can be reached on foot via a country lane, where you'll find all the shops you need.
