4-person gîte in the heart of a former convent in Barbentane with shared pool and private garden

Holiday cottage du Cloître welcomes you to a former convent that has been altered by time and its various uses: school, fruit and vegetable warehouse... After 3 years of restoration work, it has been totally refurbished by its owners under the watchful eye of the Architectes des Bâtiments de France and the Fondation du Patrimoine, saving it from ruin and restoring it to its former charm.
In the village of Barbentane, at the foot of the Montagnette massif and the Saint Michel de Frigolet abbey, come and experience the heart of Provence!
Between Avignon, the Alpilles Natural Park and its charming villages, Arles and Uzès, Le Couvent de Barbentane welcomes you for a restful, discovering, sporting, cultural, heritage or gastronomic stay!
The main house, a guest house, boasts a landscaped Mediterranean garden, a 12x4 swimming pool (salt water) open from 8am to 10pm, a large terrace and a summer kitchen in the shade of the pergola.
There's also a private garden and terrace adjoining the Holiday cottage.

Accessible by a few steps or the PRM access ramp, the Holiday cottage comprises :
- living room with sofa and armchairs, table with 6 chairs, TV, sideboard
- open-plan kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, 3-burner induction hob, Senseo coffee machine, fridge
- bathroom with walk-in shower, double vanity unit, WC and heated towel rail
- bedroom with 180x200 bed, suitcase rack, closet
- bedroom with twin 90x200 beds, closet, suitcase rack and desk.
The entire Holiday cottage is equipped with underfloor heating.

Private parking on the property.
Transfer from Avignon TGV station or center, packed lunch on request.

Price includes: bed linen, bath towels, Piscine towels, end-of-stay cleaning.
Price does not include: tourist tax.
