With a beautiful view of the Mountain Sainte Victoire, in the Countryside but only 1km from the village of Peynier, Le Bastidon is an old house renovated and converted into a Holiday cottage in 2022.
Adjoining the owners' house but not overlooked, the gîte has 3 private parking spaces, a 200m² fenced garden planted with trees and lawns and equipped with sun loungers, a terrace with garden furniture, a sheltered Jacuzzi area with opening hours depending on the season, and an outdoor shower. Inside, Le Bastidon comprises: - a living room with exposed stone walls: sofa, armchairs, coffee table, connected flat-screen TV. Bay window overlooking the outside. Separate toilet with washbasin. 4-step access to kitchen: dishwasher, oven, microwave, 3-burner induction hob, extractor fan, washing machine, fridge, freezer, table with 6 chairs. First floor: - first bedroom for 4 with high ceilings: 2 twin 80x200cm beds, storage cupboard, mezzanine with 2 single 80x200cm beds. Second bedroom with 2 twin beds 80x200cm, Sainte Victoire view, cupboard. Reversible air-conditioning. Private Jacuzzi accessible from May to September, extra charge the rest of the year (closed for energy savings in December, January and February). Sheets and towels included (if change of linen requested, it will be charged: €10/person for towels and €20/bed for sheets and €5 for 2 tea towels). Housework optional. (180 € deposit required on arrival, if cleaning is your responsibility) Pets not allowed. Any additional person not included in the contract will be charged a supplement of €50 per night. Facing the Sainte Victoire, Le Bastidon is also 20km from Aix-en-Provence, 35km from the Sea at Marseille or Cassis, and 20km from the Sainte-Baume Regional Nature Park. Just 5km from the Rousset business park and 4km from the 18-hole golf course.

Les samariens Une escapade en Provence à renouveler …
Nous avons pu profiter de la douceur de vivre à la provençale pendant une dizaine de jours dans ce gîte cosy ..c’est à dire petit dej et repas en terrasse sans parler des moments de détente dans le spa avec vue imprenable sur la montagne sainte victoire .
Valérie, la propriétaire du bastidon, nous a donné de très bons conseils pour organiser nos visites et nous donner des idées de ballades .
La localisation du gîte nous a permis de rayonner dans toute la Provence sans difficulté que ce soit du côté de la mer ( calanques , cassis) ou l’intérieur des terres .

Andreas Allemand Provence Ferienhaus mit Jacuzzi
Wir wurden sehr nett und freundlich von den Vermietern empfangen.
Sie haben uns das gesamte Haus und den dazugehörden Garten erklärt.
Von Gites de France gab es im Haus einen QR-Code mit allen Informationen rund um den Ort.
Den Grill und das Jacuzzi haben wir genutzt und waren mit beiden sehr zufrieden.
Im Haus gibt es eine Spülmaschine, das ist sehr angenehm.
Im Schlafzimmer haben wir auf einem Boxspringbett wunderbar geschlafen.
Die Verabschiedung von den Vermietern ist uns schwer gefallen, beide sind sehr nette Leute.
Wir empfehlen dieses Ferienhaus mit seiner ruhigen Lage auf jeden Fall weiter.

Very well appointed 2 / 3 bedroom holiday home.
Private parking. Hot tub. 2 double rooms - both en-suite with 3rd on mezzanine above 2nd room. Great bathrooms, well appointed kitchen and lounge with double door opening onto private garden.
Car needed - most interesting towns/sea - 20-30mins drive.
Aix-en-Provence a must see. Avignon less so.
