La Porte Neuve is a 19th-century village house in the center of Barbentane, tastefully renovated while preserving its character, spread over 3 levels. The house is semi-detached on 2 sides from other village houses.
On the first floor, the Holiday cottage comprises:
- Living room with comfortable electric relaxation sofa, large 139cm flat-screen TV, hi-fi system (amp with radio / home Cinema). Dining area with extendable table for 6 guests. Open-plan corner kitchen with 3-burner ceramic hob, hood, dishwasher, American-style fridge/freezer with water and ice dispenser, microwave, oven and Dolce Gusto pod coffee maker. Skylight at the end of the kitchen.
- Separate WC.
1st floor:
- 1st bedroom with 2-person bed 160x200cm, large dressing room with flat-screen TV.
- Private bathroom with double washbasin, WC, 120x80cm walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Access to a small courtyard/balcony of approx. 4 m².
2nd floor:
- 2nd bedroom with a 2-person 160x200cm bed, flat-screen TV, staircase leading to the mezzanine with a 90x190cm bed overlooking the bedroom with storage. View over the Barbentane rooftops, church and château towers.
- Private bathroom with washbasin, WC, 80x80cm Italian-style shower and heated towel rail.
All-inclusive: WiFi, reversible air conditioning (one unit on each floor), bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning. Mosquito nets on windows. Non-smoking Holiday cottage.
Free public parking lot 30m away.
Electric vehicle charging station approx. 1km away in the village.

Es war ein rundum schöner Urlaub. Die Ferienwohnung ist perfekt gelegen, um die Provence kennenzulernen: man ist hier zentral und kann in alle Richtungen fahren und viele verschiedene wunderschöne Landschaften entdecken: Meer, Berge, Schluchten, Kulturlandschaft, alte Dörfer und Städte mit Bauten aus der Römerzeit. Nicht zu vergessen das leckere Essen und die Märkte mit schmackhaften Zutaten aus der Region.
Die "gite" ist super ausgestattet (viel Koch- und Backgeschirr, einige Küchengeräte, Föhn sogar mit Diffuser, Klimaanlage , Heizungen, Bettdecken für unterschiedliche Temperaturen, Waschmaschine ...), sehr sauber, tolle Inneneinrichtung und bequem. Marianne ist zuverlässig und immer gut erreichbar per WhatsApp oder Telefon, bemüht dass wir alles haben, aber auch angenehm zurückhaltend.
Das Hinterlegen unserer Kreditkartendaten hatte nicht funktioniert, das war aber kein Problem, wir konnten die Kaution am zweiten Tag in bar nachreichen, da war sie sehr entspannt und angenehm.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt (in der gite und in der Region) und wären gerne viel länger geblieben. Wir kommen sicher mal wieder!- Cleanliness

JCC Séjour à Barbentane
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans ce logement, extrêmement bien équipé et d'une propreté irréprochable. De plus, ce gîte est très bien entretenu.
L'hôte nous a très bien reçu et nous a trouvé une solution pour ranger notre coffre sur le toit de la voiture.

Per Jakob Great apartment in quiet village
Wonderful and well equipped apartment with three bedrooms- wonderful quiet but interesting village with good cafes and restaurants. We used this as a base for exploring Avignon, Nimes as well as surrounding villages.

Bernard Très agréable séjour à Barbentane
Gîte très confortable, en parfait état et très bien équipé. Rien ne manque et tout l'équipement est très récent y compris la fibre optique installée quelques jours avant notre séjour. Salle d'eau et WC pour chaque chambre, moustiquaires partout.
Attention cependant aux escaliers pour les petits enfants ou les personnes à mobilité réduite.- Cleanliness
