On the hills of Roquevaire, in the heart of Pagnol's landscapes, the Gîte de la Jugesse is an 18th-century family home, where Mireille and Michel will welcome you like a friend.
On the first floor, the gîte comprises :
- A separate kitchen with dining area for 6 people, 3-burner induction hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
- A living room with sofas, rocking-chair, 100cm flat-screen TV, library and board games.
- Separate WC.
First floor:
- A 1st bedroom with a 2-person bed 160x200cm, dressing table, large dressing room and cot.
- A 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds 90x200cm, closet, chest of drawers, armchair and desk.
- A 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds 90x200cm, chest of drawers, desk and dressing room.
- A bathroom with 90x130cm walk-in shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and skylight.
- Separate WC.
Private 800 m² garden, 12 m² terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers and plancha. Petanque court, children's games. No smoking.
End-of-stay cleaning on request, sheets and towels for hire. Linen (hand towels, napkins and tablecloths) provided. Heating by pellet-fired boiler (included). Wifi access. Private parking on property. Owners live nearby.

L'accueil de Mireille et Michel a été très chaleureux. Le gîte est une ancienne maison provençale authentique. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en face les collines de Marcel Pagnol. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Of course anyone would wish for a cheaper stay but compared to other gîtes we experienced the price/quality ratio was fine. For the rest, the owners are amazingly friendly and kind, the house is big and comfortable, the region is gorgeous and seeing the sunrise on the Garlaban is an incomparable experience. There are so many options for activities very close by this gîte that we came back exhausted but thrilled. There were not enough days in that week! We definitely want to come back if we can.
