Mountain immersion in a magical setting that will delight nature lovers. Alpine chalet comprising two gîtes (n°4186 and 4187) and the owner's apartment located opposite Lac St Grat in the Gordolasque Valley at an altitude of 1600 m in the commune of Belvédère, in the heart of the Mercantour National Park. This high-mountain environment is home to a rich diversity of endemic flora and fauna visible to hikers.
From the Pont du Countet (3km at the bottom of the valley), numerous hiking trails lead to the famous Vallée des Merveilles, the GR52, high-altitude lakes and summits... You can also discover the heritage of the surrounding Vésubie villages, sample local produce or relax at Berthemont-les-bains (20 km), the only spa on the Côte d'Azur.
Holiday cottage 'l'Esquirol' on the garden level of the Chalet.

Access to Chalet via Mountain trail 1.3 km. Please note that snow equipment is strongly recommended in winter, as the access track is NOT cleared of snow - allow 20 minutes' walk!

Danielle Top à tout point de vue !!
Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits (couple avec un enfant de 6 ans).
Le chalet est magnifique, au calme et au milieu de la nature, à quelques mètres du lac de St Grat et idéalement situé pour aller randonner dans le Mercantour! Tout confort et spacieux, nous n'avons manqué de rien et nous nous sentions comme à la maison :) le propriétaire est très gentil et aux petits soins. Mention spéciale à son chien Largo qui a fait le bonheur de notre fils.

Olivier & Catherine très beau séjour dans un cadre magnifique
Avec nos deux enfants (9 et 11 ans), nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 2 semaines dans ce très bel environnement. Le gîte est confortable et plein de charme, situé dans un cadre magnifique (entouré de montagnes et près d'un torrent). De multiples ballades sont à proximité directe (soit à pied soit après quelques minutes de voiture). Un point de départ parfait pour découvrir le haut de la vallée de la Gordolasque, la vallée des Merveilles et les crêtes alentours. Et la faune était au rendez-vous! Une très belle découverte, merci à Bertrand pour l'accueil et les bons conseils.

Les Tourrettans Calme et ambiance montagne
Excellente situation pour les randonnées autour de la Gordolasque (Refuge de Nice, Lac Autier, Cîme du Diable, etc.)
Bertrand, le propriétaire, très sympa, s'est montré à la fois attentionné et disponible pour toutes nos questions.
Le gîte lui-même offre tout le confort nécessaire avec une simplicité et une rusticité bien montagnardes.
