Gîte de Montagne de la Gordolasque

The Gîte de la Semeuse in Gordolasque is a mountain gîte ideally located at the foot of the Vallée des Merveilles, in the heart of nature at an altitude of 1,500 m and 70 km from Nice. Come and discover the Gîte de la Semeuse, an approved association of popular education created in 1904 in the heart of the Gordolasque valley (Vésubie). In an exceptionally wild and unspoilt setting, on the edge of the Mercantour Park, you'll have the opportunity, for a weekend or longer stay, to recharge your batteries and enjoy authentic experiences.
On your walks and hikes, meet chamois, ibex and maybe even wolves... Contemplate the eternal snows, discover Bronze Age rock engravings (from 15,000 B.C.), the various peaks (Grand Capelet, Mont Bego, Cime du diable), as well as Belle et Sébastien's hut Le Vésubia Mountain Park, the Valvital spa, Europe's longest zip line at La Colmiane.

Gîte de la Semeuse sleeps 18 in 5 rooms:
*Le Chamois (sleeps 6/2 single beds and 2 bunk beds).
*Le Capelet (sleeps 4/2 bunk beds).
*Les Merveilles (sleeps 4/1 double bed and 1 bunk bed).
*Les Marmottes (sleeps 2/1 bunk bed).
*Le Bégo (sleeps 2/1 double bed).
Shared bathroom facilities: 2 showers, 6 washbasins and 3 WCs.
Top floor: living room with sofa, armchairs, board games, library and flat-screen TV.
For family rooms, sheets/blankets/pillows are provided.
For single rooms, beds are made up.
Rates are quoted on a half-board basis (including overnight stay, dinner and breakfast). Reduction for groups of 10 or more paying guests for a minimum of one night and collective payment (please consult us). Children from 4 to 10 years old. Association membership (quarterly/annual): Individual: €5/20. Family: 10/40 €. Group: €25/100. Tourist tax extra.
