Communal gîte located in a semi-detached house comprising 2 gîtes (n°6198 and 6199). Located 20 km from Nice, in the Var valley, Castagniers is a perched village in the middle of the Nice region, surrounded by olive groves and Mediterranean vegetation. Beautiful unobstructed views and magnificent panorama from the top of Mont Cima (880 m). Access to the village via the picturesque D14 road, winding up from the D2202. Great walks and hikes around the village, and a visit to the Cistercian convent of Notre Dame de la Paix, where you can indulge in homemade chocolates and jams. Visit the Vallon obscur du Donaréo, classified Natura 2000, not forgetting the oil mill.

    Super Gîte

    Gîte très bien placé, pas loin de Nice et qui permet de ne pas être loin des excursions

    remarques

    Séjour agréable, calme, belle région nous n'avons vu personne de la mairie il y avait une boîte à clés avec un code transmis et il fallait les remettre dedans en partant.
    Manque un peu de vaisselle et couverts .Le matelas du rdc serait à changer. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

    Gîte à Castagniers

    Le gîte est agréable et assez spacieux pour une famille de 5 personnes
    Seul bémol on entend la chasse d'eau du gîte à côté et les chaises qui font du bruit dès qu'on les déplace.

    Beau point de vue depuis la terrasse.Cependant
    ne pas craindre la route en lacets depuis le bas du village pour accéder au gîte.

    Sinon le village est sympa et calme.
    Et on mange bien au restaurant.

    Séjour agréable

    Agréable séjour dans un village charmant.
    En revanche, aucun accueil puisque c'est une box a clé, donc aucun échange.
    Le gîte est suffisant, si vous y êtes pour manger et dormir.
    Il mériterait tout de même un ménage approfondi de temps en temps et également une literie plus correcte (matelas, couverture et oreillers à changer)

    Un si joli village !

    Cela pourrait être un bel endroit...Mais ! L'accueil est inexistant sauf par téléphone pour un employé municipal. Devant le parking est exclusivement réservé aux gites et deux habitations. Malgré cela le dimanche vers 14h impossible de se garer (une fête à la salle des loisirs) et le maire qui nous fait une scène car nous l'empêchons de circuler ??? Je ne vous dirais pas le reste car du Pagnol dans le texte.
    En conclusions pas d'entretien du gîte, et les locataires laissés a leur études !!
    Dommage le cite est très beau.
