On the edge of the Mercantour. Entrevaux 500 m: medieval village fortified by Vauban, museum, citadel, cathedral, ramparts, oil mill, all shops, Train des Pignes station, Digne-Nice tourist line. Fishing, leisure center, hiking, GR4 nearby (guidebooks and IGN maps available in the gîte). Puget-Théniers 6 km: Maison de Pays, via ferrata, swimming pool. Ecomusée de la Roudoule 12 km. Annot 15 km: renowned climbing site, white-water sports center. Digne-les-Bains and Nice 1 hour away.
Detached house on a hillside surrounded by terraces and olive trees, with superb views of the fortified village of Entrevaux and the Var plain. Pedestrian access from Holiday cottage to village. Not overlooked (1 gated house nearby). Large private, unfenced plot with possible bike shelter. 2 large covered terraces, one of which gives access to a laundry room. Holiday cottage on 2 levels. First floor: Kitchen / living room / lounge with fireplace. Bedroom 1 (1 bed 140), separate toilet. 1st floor: Bedroom 2 (2 beds 90 + one extra bed), Bedroom 3 (1 bed 140). Shower room/wc. Sheets and towels available for hire. End-of-stay cleaning on request. Pets allowed upon agreement with owners. All charges included except wood.

Perfect location, quiet with beautiful view on the Citadel of Entrevaux. Big garden with lots of privacy (the other building is currently not inhabited). Despite the heat wave the house was cool. The owners are very friendly and the communication was smooth. They gave us some good advice for nice hikes. Hiking maps are available in the house. Lots of things to do in the area. Some of the equipment in the house is a bit outdated but it's functional. Highly recommended!

Alain Très bon séjour
Gîte confortable qui a été très bien rénové un peu isolé mais pas trop à 10mn à pied du centre du village et très belle vue sur la citadelle. Propriétaires très sympathiques et de bon conseil pour les randonnées à ne pas manquer.

Ymer Un splendide endroi
Superbe gîte, incroyablement bien situé, vue sur le piton de la Citadelle, dans les oliviers tout en étant a 5mn du café ; isolé et proche a la fois. Les hôtes sont réactifs, le village très sympa et la région très belle. Rando, baignade en rivière. Enfin bref, on espère bien revenir.
